Andra Archer has been making pilgrimages to the Australian outback for more than 15 years, working with Aboriginal artists in art cents across Australia. From the first encounter, she was taken with the seamlessness of the culture and art, which is a reflection of the non-existent boundary of "dreaming", or spirit, and physical existence.
Like the indigenous peoples of North America, the art of the Aboriginal People tells stories. Stories about ancient migration routes, rituals and creation.
